How to Improve your Handwriting
As I improved my own handwriting, I want to share with each of you how I personally achieved my goal handwriting!
Here are the steps:
1. Find your perfect pen.
Yes, pens matter! You need to find what pen you are most comfortable with. Consider how you hold the pen, and determine whether you personally like how it writes.
2. Write ABC’s.
uppercase and lowercase! Make sure you are writing all your letters consistently. DO NOT RUSH THIS STEP! It is important to know what font you want to achieve from the start and repeat that.
3. Pangrams
These are sentences that include every letter of the alphabet. It’s very good to know how to write every letter so your style remains consistent throughout your notes.
Make all your letters the same size. This is pleasing to the eye.
4. Practice Sheet
There are many practice sheets and templates you can use that are available online that you can print out and practice whenever. This will help you achieve different fonts in a faster amount of time.
5. Look for inspiration!
It’s our human nature to get discouraged here and there. It’s important to look for things that inspire us so we can have an end goal of what we want our handwriting to look like.
6. CONSISTENCY IS 🔑
do not give up in a few days. The more you practice, the easier and the faster your goals will come about.
For some, this process takes days, for others weeks and for many others, it takes months.
