How I Picture Book Characters 📚🙂‍↕️

I could probably do so many more of these 😂

I’m a big fan of disregarding descriptions and official character art and just picturing them however I want 😂

No, but I totally respect an author’s concept and how their characters are meant to look, but sometimes the vibes just take over 😂 Like in my mind Lark was always a beautiful sun ray of a woman with blonde hair, lots of glitter, and dark skin. And Grim, in my opinion, looks way younger than I imagined him in my head. I pictured him so much more intense and of the shadows, with a 30-something’s face and long hair!! I love his character art, but it gives more early 20s emo boy than I naturally pictured.

I like your depiction of Grim way better lol and as for Lark I definitely didn't picture her the way she is apparently and I think I pictured her even differently than you 😂 But I still love it. Lark and Lachlin were my favorite 😍
