FREE Workshops at Lytham Community Comic Con ❤️🤍💙

We’re delighted to announce that Peter Houghton from Space Axolotl Comics will be running two fantastic short comic creation workshops during Lytham Community Comic Con this summer ✏️

These workshops were incredibly popular at last year’s event and we’re thrilled to be bringing them back again 🫶

Workshop 1: Comic Character Creation:

In this fun and creative session, Peter will show participants how comic characters are designed and developed. You’ll learn how simple shapes and ideas can turn into memorable characters, before creating your very own original comic character complete with personality and story ✍️

Workshop 2: Comic Strip Creation:

Later in the day Peter will run a second workshop where participants will learn how comics tell stories through sequential panels. You’ll create your own short comic strip with a beginning, middle and ending, bringing your characters to life in a mini adventure 📖

Best of all these workshops are completely FREE 😲

Spaces will be limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on the day. However, to avoid disappointment we highly recommend reserving a place in advance if you would like to take part. We’ll be sharing more details closer to the event about how you can reserve your spot 👍
