Cat peeking through the curtain
A kitten stepping on the grass in the garden step by step. I feel a mysterious power in that serious look. Even though it is a small existence that does not know the world yet, its steps are certain and unwavering. Humans stop worrying about the future, but cats just move on now. That innocence may be the origin of the strength to live. Small footsteps are likely to be drowned out by the noise of everyday life, but they certainly resonate. I engraved that sound in my heart and wanted to walk carefully today.
私の家にも複数の猫がいて、カーテンの裏でくつろぐ姿は本当に癒されます。特に多頭飼いの場合、ご飯の場所を仕切る工夫が重要で、みんながストレスなく食事できる環境作りに気を使っています。また、猫が“かじりホーダイタワー”としてお気に入りのおもちゃを持っていると、家具やカーテンへの悪戯も減りました。 猫の顔がカーテンの隙間からほんの少し見える光景はとても愛らしいもので、まるで秘密を共有しているように感じられます。私自身、猫がこれから叱られるかも？というシーンを目にすると、その表情や仕草にやられてしまい、つい許してしまうこともあります。お互いの信頼関係が大切だと感じています。 そんな日常の中で、猫の一歩一歩が輝いて見える瞬間を大切にしながら、毎日を過ごしています。「With you, everyday life shines」という言葉通り、猫と共に過ごす日々が私の暮らしに特別な光をもたらしてくれています。
