I Study Less But Still Get A’s With This Trick!
This is called Parkinson's Law.
It means - Work expands to fill the available time
Essentially however much time you have to complete a task, that is how long it will take for you to actually complete it.
So you want to trick your brain into thinking that your assignments are due sooner by scheduling your own due dates sooner than the actual deadline. This will force you to get your work done way sooner.
For example if I have homework that is due by Friday, I will set a personal due date for it by Wednesday. That way I know that I have to complete it in half the time. Once it's done I have all of those extra days to continue reviewing or work on other classes.
By doing this in my classes, I make sure that I am always up to date on the material and I have to study way less.
If I didn't set that homework due date for Wednesday and instead kept it for Friday, then I would waste 2 more days trying to get the homework done when in reality, it shouldn't actually take me until Friday to finish it.
Let me know if you're going to try this out!
