My desk setup is crucial here; having my computer monitor ready with online resources and my keyboard for quick notes helps me stay immersed. Dedicating this prime focus hour to "4 lectures + 4hr practice" or tackling those challenging practice problems makes all the difference. Hour 3 is your strategic break for avoiding burnout. I don't just grab a snack; I physically move, use my tablet for a brief educational video on a different subject, or step away from my desk entirely. When I switch subjects, it's something entirely different to give my brain a fresh start. For Hour 4 (Review & Lock-In), this isn't passive reading. I actively summarize concepts, teach them out loud, or connect them to previous knowledge.
