My Study Non-Negotiables 🧠📓

I have a few study rules I stick to no matter what, because they’re the only things that actually help me stay focused and retain what I’m learning. First up: no phone. I either leave it in another room or throw it on airplane mode. If I keep it near me, it’s game over 😅. Second: I always use a timer, either the Pomodoro method (25/5) or 50/10 when I need a longer flow.

And finally, no passive studying. I don’t just highlight or reread anymore. I use active recall methods like brain dumps, flashcards, or explaining the topic out loud (even if I feel silly doing it). These three habits changed how I study and honestly made it less painful. Stick with them and you’ll notice the difference fast! 🔥📚
