Muffins from KUTEN, Iwashoin
I had a muffin from KUTEN. A fun combination of figs, cream cheese, and hojicha berries. It was delicious. Kuten is located in Suzaka Aeon, but the main store was originally located in Iwashoin in Obuse-cho. I had heard about this before Aeon was created, but I was happy to be able to eat it because I have not visited the main store.
The first time I visited Iwashoin was a few years ago in the spring. Maybe before marriage. It was a late spring when the cherry blossoms were about to end. I remember my wife saying that she often came with her mother to see the cherry blossoms. Katsushika Hokusai's Happo-glare Phoenix picture on the ceiling of the temple is well known, but it is also famous for the frog battle (Issa's haiku: Don't lose if you lose your weight).
Today was a holiday. I went to two clinics in the morning and finished, and in the afternoon I came to the heat, reading and watching movies at home without going out. I finished reading "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and watched "Parasite Half Underground Family" on Netflix. And it's already evening. Time flies on holidays. Tiffany's story is a little different between the original and the movie. I feel that my reading comprehension is still immature, and I think it would be nice to watch a movie again after watching Parasite. I sincerely hope to go to Korea again at this age. I'm not interested in K-POP, but I like Korea. When I traveled to Seoul alone in my 20s, Japan was a time of strong hatred of Korea. Originally, I didn't feel any disgust, but on the contrary, the current Korean boom is disappointing. Until I was 25 or 6 years old, Japanese music, manga, and anime were banned in Korea, and it's only been about 20 years since the ban on Japanese songs was fully lifted.
私も以前、須坂イオンでKUTENのマフィンを食べたことがありますが、いちじくとクリームチーズのコンビネーションは本当に魅力的で、独特の甘みと酸味がマッチしてとても美味しかったです。ほうじ茶ベリーの風味も日本茶好きにはたまらない組み合わせですよね。 岩松院を訪れた際には、葛飾北斎の八方睨みの鳳凰図が圧巻で、まさに芸術と歴史が融合した空間だと感じました。春の桜の季節は特におすすめで、境内を歩きながら一茶の俳句「痩せがえる負けるな一茶ここにあり」が刻まれた蛙合戦の場所にも立ち寄り、自然と歴史を感じることができます。 個人的な休日の過ごし方としては、読書と映画鑑賞が心地よいリラックスタイムです。「ティファニーで朝食を」は映画と原作の違いを楽しみつつ、物語の深さに改めて気づかされました。また、「パラサイト 半地下の家族」は社会問題を鋭く描いていて、映画鑑賞の奥深さを教えてくれました。こうした経験を通じて休日の過ごし方を充実させることができ、次の旅行の計画にもつながります。 韓国への旅も思い出深く、20代での一人旅は刺激的でした。かつての嫌韓ムードがあった時代から、今の盛り上がりを見ると感慨深いものがあります 。K-POP以外にも韓国の文化や食、歴史を味わう旅はとても魅力的なので、また訪れたいと思っています。
