God Is Working While You Wait

Waiting can feel like an endless challenge, especially when you’ve prayed and hoped for a breakthrough that just hasn’t arrived yet. From my own experience, I've found that these moments of silence or delay aren't empty—they are part of a deeper process. Just like a seed buried underground, God’s work is often invisible at first but is building toward a greater purpose. During a period of personal uncertainty, I reminded myself of stories like David’s anointing long before he became king, and Joseph’s dreaming before his time of ruling. These examples are powerful reminders that God’s timing is perfect, even if it differs from our expectations. Sometimes, the waiting season is actually God’s way of preparing us—strengthening our faith, refining our character, and positioning us for future blessings. It’s easy to confuse delay with denial, but I’ve learned to trust that "not yet" is an answer too. Every setback and closed door I faced eventually made way for something better aligned with God’s plan. Psalm 37:5-6 resonated deeply with me: committing my way to the Lord and trusting Him brought peace and clarity over time. If you’re in a season of waiting, keep praying and keep trusting. Movement doesn’t always mean visible progress, but staying faithful encourages growth within us. One day, when you look back, the waiting season will reveal itself as an integral and purposeful part of your story. Remember Isaiah 40:31—the promise that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. This journey isn’t wasted; God is working every step of the way.
