Day 2- Fix It Up: 21 Days to Stronger You series

Struggling to keep up? That’s OK—you’re still moving!

Day 2 of my 21 Day Fix series, and here’s the truth: modifications aren’t cheating—they’re SMART. 💡

Starting out, I couldn’t do a single full push-up. But guess what? Modified push-ups kept me consistent and gave me the strength to level up later. 💪 I also do modified squats. I just don’t squat as low. Modifications don’t have to be major. Just listen to your body.

Whether you’re crushing full moves or starting with mods, you’re showing up—and that’s what matters most.

Don’t let perfection stop you. Progress is what matters. Keep moving, keep growing, and keep trying!

Are you team modified or team full moves right now? Let me know below! 👇

... Read moreIn the realm of fitness, the journey toward improvement is both challenging and rewarding. Many beginners often feel discouraged when they see others performing full exercises effortlessly. However, it's essential to understand that modifications are not just acceptable—they're a smart strategy to build strength over time. For instance, instead of struggling through a full push-up, a modified version allows individuals to focus on form and gradually gain the power needed for progression. Similarly, modified squats can help maintain joint health while still targeting the right muscles. Fitness is not a one-size-fits-all approach; everyone has unique capabilities and limits. Knowing when to push harder or when to take a step back is vital for injury prevention and achieving sustainable results. Furthermore, progress comes in various forms—whether it’s increasing reps, reducing rest time, or simply maintaining consistency in your routine. Celebrate these small victories! As you reflect on your fitness goals, consider joining communities that support both modified and full movements. Sharing your experiences can further enhance your motivation and accountability. Remember, the most crucial aspect is showing up for yourself and recognizing that every step counts, no matter how small. Are you ready to continue your journey and embrace your modifications? Let’s keep moving forward together!
