Progress Over Perfection 🫶
🚨 What if I told you… the tiniest steps forward are still forward?
Two weeks ago, a one-legged burpee felt like trying to lasso the moon — impossible. Today? I did it. Was it pretty? Nope. Was it perfect? Absolutely not. But was it progress? 1000%.
I was also working on my burpee to lightning bolt. Spoiler alert: it’s a work in progress.
But every wobble, every fall, every “OMG, did I just faceplant?” moment… it’s all part of getting stronger.
Progress > Perfection.
If you’re moving, you’re winning.
In the world of fitness, perfection can often feel unattainable. However, focusing on progress instead can lead to greater motivation and satisfaction. The concept of progress over perfection emphasizes that every effort counts, even when outcomes aren't flawless. Whether it's tackling a one-legged burpee or attempting new workout routines, the journey is about improvement, not comparison. It's normal to struggle and face setbacks along the way; these experiences are essential for building resilience and confidence. Utilize hashtags like #BurpeeChallenge and #ProgressNotPerfection to connect with like-minded individuals who share similar goals and acknowledge their efforts. Remember, every bit of progress is a victory, no matter how small! Celebrate each victory, commit to your goals, and let the journey of self-improvement inspire you.
