When this book became a hot topic in the media, I remember thinking that the author of Iwate, the local area is amazing. After a while, the story of Kafune came out in the conversation, and I decided to read it. There was almost no information about the contents, and I didn t get lost in the sentence of Obi, Rebirth begins with crying "delicious."
The scene of Kaoruko and Setsuna's meeting at the beginning of reading was painful, and it was difficult to continue reading as if the irritation of the main character Kaoruko was contagious to me. As soon as I managed to read it, there was an exit, and from there, the page turned over and the story progressed steadily.
It was the high ability of Kaoruko and Setsuna that I read comfortably as a reward. Refreshing results become a habit. And I can't say much, but the comfort of the characters. I definitely want to see it when it is visualized. Kaoruko is Yoshida sheep, no Eguchi Noriko? Setsuna is... Well, how about Eliza Ikeda?
By the way, it was an image that the foreshadowing recovery was like a raging wave in the last, but this work is studded with recovery at key points, and there is still new information? What? Such a reason? And suddenly comes in. I can not be careless. That much human beings are not simple. I wonder if there is no sequel...,
※ネタバレはできるだけ避けつつ、検索でよく見かける「最後（ラスト）」が気になる方向けに、“読後に残る感触”を中心に補足します。 『カフネ』の魅力って、派手などんでん返しというより、「え、そういう背景があったの？」が章の途中でふいに差し込まれて、読み手の見え方が更新されていくところだと思いました。ラストに向けて一気に回収して終わるタイプではなく、要所要所で小さな回収が積み重なって、最後には“人生って単純じゃないよね”という納得に着地する感じ。だからこそ「最後どうなる？」と気になって読んでも、読後に残るのは結末の派手さより、薫子とせつなの関係性がちゃんと地面を踏んで終わる安心感でした。 それと、この作品はタイトルや帯の通り「食べること」が再生のスイッチになっています。「おいしい」と泣くことから再生は始まる、って少し綺麗すぎるコピーかな？と最初は思ったのに、読み進めると不思議と腑に落ちる。食事って、元気なときは当たり前なのに、弱っているときほど“作る/食べる”が難しいから。作中の言葉で印象に残ったのは、「死ぬまでは生きなきゃいけないし、健康じゃないと生きるのはますます苦しくなる。あとね、おにぎりを作れるようになると、人生の戦闘力が上がるよ。」という一節。読後、私もほんとにおにぎりを握りたくなりました。 もしこれから読む人に小さなコツを言うなら、序盤の待ち合わせシーンの“しんどさ”は正常です。薫子の苛立ちがこちらにも伝染して、読みづらい…となりやすい。でもそこを越えると、二人の仕事ぶり（能力の高さ）が気持ちよくてページが進みます。家事代行サービス「カフネ」の現場描写も、ただ優しいだけじゃなく、生活を立て直すための具体性があるのが良かった。 最後に、検索で見かけがちな「村田久美子 最後」については、作中の人物名の受け取り方や印象が途中で変わるタイプの作品なので、先に結末だけ拾うより、できれば“なぜそう感じたか”まで含めて読んだほうが満足度が高いと思います。読み終えたあと、自分の生活の中の「ちゃんと食べる」「まず一個できること（＝おにぎり）」みたいな小さな行動に戻ってこられる本でした。続編、私も待ちたい…！
