Kasav with peanut butter is an interesting snack that combines crunchy texture with creamy, nutty goodness—a perfect balance that surprised me with its simplicity and taste. Other dishes like Pate and Salad Russe showcase the French influences, adding a delicate touch to the hearty flavors. Speaking from experience attending Haitian gatherings and tasting dishes like Mori (salt fish) and the creamy, sweet Kremas drink, I can say that Haitian food is truly a celebration of heritage and community. Whether you’re new to Haitian cuisine or looking to expand your palate, these dishes offer a glimpse into the vibrant culture and culinary expertise of Haiti.
