You know, when people hear 'day in the life of a wife,' they often picture a certain routine. But for me, as a 'wifeager,' it's a whole different ballgame! It's not just about managing a home; it's about being deeply involved in my partner's music career, which means every day is an adventure. My mornings usually kick off before dawn. While some might be hitting snooze, I'm often up planning the day's schedule, responding to urgent emails from the night before, and preparing for whatever project is on the horizon. For instance, if we have a big video shoot #2 coming up, my 'to-do' list is immediately packed. It’s not just about showing up; it's about coordinating outfits, making sure props are ready, and even packing snacks for the whole crew. Then there are the days we're on set. I remember the energy during the 'Violin' video shoot – it was electric! My role wasn't just observing; I was often the go-to person for everything from fixing a stray hair to making sure everyone was fed and hydrated. Being in locations like Jersey City, NY, adds another layer of logistics, navigating traffic and making sure we arrive on time. And let me tell you, BTS filming for 'Insecure' was another incredible experience, seeing all the moving parts come together. It's exhilarating, but it also means long hours on my feet, constantly problem-solving. Amidst all the career hustle, I still strive to maintain a sense of normalcy at home. That's where my love for cooking comes in. After a grueling day of shoots and meetings, there’s something incredibly therapeutic about stepping into the kitchen and whipping up a home-cooked meal. It’s my way of nurturing our space and ensuring we have healthy, comforting food. Sometimes, I even manage to squeeze in some personal time, a moment to myself, just feeling myself.... and recharging. It's definitely a juggling act. There are days when I feel like I'm running on fumes, and by the end of it, I'm just ready to crash. But then I see the passion in my partner's eyes, the excitement of a new release, or the positive feedback from fans, and it makes every late night and early morning worth it. Being a wifeager means wearing many hats – confidante, manager, chef, stylist, and biggest cheerleader. It's a challenging but incredibly rewarding life, full of unexpected twists and turns, making every day anything but ordinary.
