Healthy Hamburger Steaks 🥩😍

👩🏻‍🍳INGREDIENTS:

1 lbs organic grass fed ground beef

1/2 cup almond flour (fine,organic)

1 egg (large, organic)

1 tsp salt (plus more to taste)

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

2 sweet onions (thinly sliced)

8 oz mushrooms (sliced)

2 tbsp all-purpose flour (organic, use gf if needed)

2 cups beef broth (organic)

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp dried thyme

Slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch whisked with 1 tbsp water)

👩🏻‍🍳INSTRUCTIONS:

In a mixing bowl, mix beef, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, salt, & pepper. Form 4 hamburger patties. Brown patties in a cast skillet over medium/high heat, then remove & set aside (they will cook more later). In the same skillet, sauté onions until soft. Add mushrooms & cook for an additional 2-3 min. Sprinkle flour over the veggies, cook 2-3 more minutes. Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire, thyme, & additional salt & pepper to taste. Bring to a simmer. Whisk in your slurry to thicken. Return patties to the skillet, cover, & simmer for 15 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through & gravy thickens.
