How Iām Protecting My Peace Going Into Fall š | New Season, Same God
Fall is coming, and Iām not carrying every bit of summerās chaos with me. šš¤
This season Iām protecting my time, rest, space, energy, faith, and peace. Iām saying no without guilt, letting go of what drains me, feeding my body and soul, and keeping God at the center of it all.
Some seasons are for doing more. Others are for learning what deserves access to you.
š New season. New mercies. Same boundaries.
šš¾ Different season. Same God.

As the crisp air of fall approaches, I find it essential to not only protect my peace but to intentionally nurture and restore my well-being in every aspect. From personal experience, saying no without feeling guilty has been a game changer; itās not about shutting doors but about choosing what truly deserves my time and energy. One of the most powerful lessons Iāve learned is that rest isnāt a luxury or a rewardāitās a non-negotiable necessity that sustains my mental and spiritual health. Keeping God at the center during seasonal transitions provides a comforting anchor. Prayer and faith help me release guilt and stress, creating space to heal emotionally and physically. Surrounding myself with uplifting people, nurturing environments, and soul-feeding activities like good food, inspiring books, and calming music has also helped maintain this balance. Boundaries become my silent moves that yield big results, enabling me to protect my peace without explaining or reacting unnecessarily. Iāve found that identifying and letting go of things, places, or even thoughts that drain me allows me to protect my business over chaos, focus on healing, and walk in purpose unbothered. This intentional approach to self-care fuels my energy and cultivates gratitude, blessing my daily walk into fall. Trusting that "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast" (Isaiah 26:3) encourages me to keep faith over fear, anchoring my peace throughout the seasonās changes. Going into this fall, I encourage anyone reading to reflect on what parts of their life need guardingābe it time, energy, relationships, or mindsetāand choose peace with purpose and grace. It's a journey worth taking for lasting wellness and spiritual renewal.
