A Decade of Entrepreneurship

Dear Sisters,

They’re going to call you “too much” the moment you stop shrinking yourself to fit their comfort zone.

Go anyway.

Launch the business anyway.

Post the content anyway.

Take the meeting anyway.

Wear the outfit anyway.

Apply for the opportunity anyway.

A lot of women are sitting on purpose because they’re waiting to feel fully ready, fully qualified, fully fearless. Meanwhile, the people winning are simply deciding to move before confidence arrives.

Faith will have you building things your current reality can’t explain yet. That’s okay. Every new floor in life requires a different version of you.

Stop asking for permission to become her. 🔝✨

... Read moreOver the years, I've realized that the journey of entrepreneurship especially for women often demands pushing past fear and societal expectations. Many times, I hesitated because I felt I wasn’t entirely prepared or qualified to take the next step. However, what truly made a difference was choosing to act ‘anyway’ — launching my ideas, stepping into meetings, and embracing opportunities even when confidence was lacking. One essential lesson I learned is that waiting to feel 100% ready can keep you stuck indefinitely. Confidence often comes after taking action, not before. Building your vision requires faith in yourself and acceptance that the current reality may not yet reflect your aspirations. This mindset shift allowed me to evolve continually and embrace new roles and challenges that shaped a stronger version of myself. Connecting with communities like #WomenWhoLead and #WomenInBusiness has been invaluable. Seeing other Black women and women of all backgrounds thriving despite obstacles is a powerful reminder that leadership is not about perfection but about perseverance and authenticity. If you’re hesitating to start or expand your business, remember this: You don’t need anyone’s permission to become the woman who leads with courage and conviction. Taking the leap ‘anyway’ paves the way for growth that aligns with your purpose and power. So, wear that outfit you feel ‘too much’ in, take that meeting that intimidates you, and share your voice even when the world expects you to shrink. The decade of entrepreneurship is calling you to rise and redefine what’s possible. Your time to lead unapologetically is now.
