✨ Progress Update ✨

On July 2nd I started at 198.8. I didn’t take pictures that day (wish I had!), but I’ve been tracking ever since. Today I’m at 176.2 — that’s 22.6 potatoes lighter 🥔➡️🥔 💪

But the scale isn’t the only win:

Inches lost so far:

✨ Chest –8.19"

✨ Waist –7.98"

✨ Abdomen –6.46"

✨ Hips –5.48"

I can feel the difference in my clothes, my energy, and my confidence. The journey isn’t over, but I’m so proud of how far I’ve come in just a couple of months.

Yes, I’m on 💉 — but it’s not magic. It’s consistency, movement, and mindful choices that are making the biggest difference.

Here’s to stronger days ahead, more walks, more movement, and more non-scale wins. ✨

... Read moreTracking your weight loss journey with both scale and measurements is a powerful method to observe true changes that might not be visible on the scale alone. Alongside the impressive weight loss of 22.6 pounds (or as creatively described, ‘22.6 potatoes lighter’), the inches lost in key areas like chest, waist, abdomen, and hips highlight meaningful body composition changes. These body measurements provide a more comprehensive picture of progress and can often motivate individuals to continue their efforts. It's important to recognize that while some may be using medical aids such as injections (referenced as 💉 in the original post), the real transformation is driven by sustainable habits: consistent daily movement, exercises such as walking, and making mindful nutritional choices. These elements collectively improve energy levels, confidence, and how clothes fit—benefits that extend far beyond the numbers on the scale. Moreover, adopting a mindset centered around 'progress not perfection' helps maintain motivation. Celebrating non-scale victories such as increased endurance, better sleep, and happier moods supports long-term lifestyle changes. Engaging with supportive communities like those tagged (#boundtobalance, #weightlossjourney, #lifestylechanges, #progressnotperfection) can provide encouragement and shared experiences to overcome obstacles. Remember, weight loss journeys are personal and unique. Tracking multiple indicators including weight, measurements, and subjective feelings of well-being offers a holistic view of progress. Stronger days lie ahead as you commit to movement and balanced living—keep celebrating every small win, both on and off the scale.
