New Korean bakery in Suntec City!

If you’ve been seeing Noci Bakehouse all over your feed, it’s the new Korean-style bakery at Suntec City (by the same team behind Noci Pasta Bar).

Is the bread actually worth the hype?

Here’s the breakdown:

🥯 The Bakes

They have about 20+ items rotating. It’s a mix of European techniques and Korean flavors.

Viral Butter Tteok ($2.50 each): Honestly, the best value item. It’s a chewy butter mochi that’s pan-seared. Crispy on the outside, super stretchy inside. Get this.

Dubai Chocolate Danish ($12): The priciest item. Loaded with pistachio-kunafa filling and serious crunch. It’s rich and heavy, definitely share this, or the "trend fatigue" will hit halfway through.

Castella Milk Cream Salt Bread ($5.90): This is the one you see everywhere. It’s messy to eat but the cream is high quality, thick and not too sweet. The "salt bread" base is denser than a typical croissant, more like a chewy roll.

Jalapeño Cheese Bagel ($7): The winner. It’s a soft, chewy Korean-style bagel with a legit spicy kick. The pickled peppers cut right through the salty cheddar. Best savory pick.

Raspberry Madeleine ($4.30): Classic and buttery. The glaze is tart, not just sugar. A solid, smaller treat if you're not up for a massive pastry.

Spring Onion Cream Cheese Bagel ($7): If you like savory, this is a classic Korean cafe staple. Very heavy on the cream cheese, so definitely share this with a friend.

💡 The Verdict:

Vibe: 10/10. It’s beautiful. Cream brick walls, wooden furniture, and very "Pinterest."

Food: 7/10. Some items are a bit pricey for what they are, and the salt bread can be a hit or miss depending on how fresh the batch is.

Wait Time: Be prepared to queue on weekends.

Pro-tip: Go before 12pm. They run out of the popular salt bread flavors by mid-afternoon.

📍 Location: Suntec City, Tower 3, #01 -604 (Near Promenade MRT)

💸 Damage: ~$15–$25 per pax

... Read moreIf you're planning a visit to Noci Bakehouse, here's a tip: try to arrive before noon. The popular salt bread flavors tend to sell out quickly, and getting there early means you can enjoy the freshest batch. As someone who loves savory baked goods, the jalapeño cheese bagel was a personal favorite. It's not just spicy — the pickled peppers add a nice tang that balances the rich cheddar cheese, making it a perfect snack or light meal. I also appreciated the variety available, with over 20 baked goods rotating regularly. This blend of European baking techniques with Korean flavors creates a unique menu, ideal if you want to try something different from your typical bakery fare. While some items like the Dubai Chocolate Danish are pricier, sharing those richer options with friends makes it worthwhile without feeling overly indulgent. The bakery’s interior is quite Instagram-worthy, with clean cream brick walls and wooden furnishings that give it a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere. Be prepared for weekends; the lines can get quite long, so weekdays or early mornings are best for a more relaxed visit. Lastly, if you love classic sweet treats, the raspberry madeleine offers a buttery, tart glaze that's just the right size for a light dessert. It’s a delightful option if you want something less heavy but still satisfying.
