Yoon Yeon Dang: Korean Bakery Pop-up

@yyd_bakery_us has a bakery pop-up at @sunteccity. They nailed it with the salt bread! It has a nice buttery aroma and the base is crispy. They are a bakery chain from Ulsan, South Korea. And they currently have 10 stores across South Korea. They specialise in Salt Bread and fruit cakes.

Because their salt bread itself is good, their other salt bread with both sweet and savoury stuffings are relatively good too. But you must try the plain salt bread in their own to taste the buttery aroma and the crispy base. I personally would be back for their plain salt bread which tasted lot better than the ones sold at our local bakeries.

Their other star products include the snowflake bread which is topped with a super thick layer of cream. The cream melts in your mouth like snow but there’s no way I could eat so much cream in one seating. So I will stick to their salt bread.

There’s a small seating area where you can enjoy the bread with their beverages.

... Read moreIf you're visiting Yoon Yeon Dang at Suntec City, don't miss out on exploring their full menu beyond the iconic salt bread. Their fruit cakes are a standout, particularly the iced fruit cake filled with fresh sweet fruits and smooth cream, offering a delicate yet rich flavor profile that complements the breads well. Also, their signature snowflake bread, topped with a thick layer of melt-in-your-mouth cream, is a delightful indulgence if you're a cream lover. For beverage options, the matcha foam lattes, including strawberry and mango varieties, provide a refreshing accompaniment to the baked goods, balancing sweetness with a light, creamy texture. The bakery’s roots in Ulsan, South Korea, and its expansion to 10 stores nationwide highlight their commitment to quality and authentic Korean bakery fare. The pop-up setting includes a small seating area, allowing you to savor the fresh bread right away, enhancing the experience. If you're planning to visit, take advantage of the current promotion: buy 5 salt breads and get 1 free, which is a great deal to share some favorites with friends or stock up for later. The pop-up runs daily from 10 am to 8 pm until October 26, 2025, so you have plenty of time to visit. Many visitors have shared positive reviews about the rich buttery texture and the crispy base of the plain salt bread, often noting it surpasses local bakery offerings in the area. For those capturing the experience, browsing online photos and the bakery menu can help you pick your must-try items before heading there. Whether you love savory or sweet, Yoon Yeon Dang offers something memorable for every palate at Suntec City.
