LILO and Stitch party

Aloha, party planners! I recently threw the most epic Lilo & Stitch bash, and I just HAD to share all my favorite tips and tricks with you. You absolutely have to try carving a watermelon to resemble Stitch's face – it was a huge hit! We surrounded it with a fresh, colorful fruit salad of strawberries, grapes, and watermelon pieces. For savory bites, Hawaiian pulled pork sliders on a three-tiered stand were a massive crowd-pleaser; you can even have a cute sign for them. Sweet treats included adorable flip-flop shaped cookies, individual popcorn boxes decorated with Stitch and Angel characters, and, of course, the show-stopping cakes! We had a beautiful two-tier Lilo & Stitch themed cake with a figurine topper, decorated with red and green frosting, white leaf cutouts, and plumeria flowers. Another cake featured Stitch with a pink bow and blue and light blue frosting rosettes. The cupcakes were also a big hit, often topped with character picks. No 'Ohana party is complete without a little something for your guests to take home! Think small, tropical-themed items. We used pineapple-shaped gift boxes and cups with green straws, which were a huge hit. You could also put together mini craft kits for making leis, or small bags of themed candy. For a personal touch, little character stickers to decorate their cups or notebooks are always appreciated. To keep the 'Ohana spirit alive, we planned a few simple activities. A 'pin the nose on Stitch' game is always a classic. You could also set up a hula dancing lesson for the kids, or even a 'find the alien experiment' scavenger hunt around the yard. Playing the ukulele (like the one we had near the cake!) could inspire a sing-along of favorite Lilo & Stitch songs.
