I loved Rosie and Ford’s story in this. The second chance romance and watching them realize they never hated each other was such a beautiful story. The way Ford will protect Rosie and does everything to make her feel like a queen was just *chef’s kiss*. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars like all my other Elsie Silver reads is that I felt like we only really saw Ford and Rosie and their immediate family. It was almost as if Rosie had no friends and was super isolated. At one point she ran into an old friend, said she would make plans with her, but never did. Other than that, I loved this book just as I have loved all of the other books Elsie Silver has written!
