Builder grade mirror transformation!

This old builder grade mirror was notttt coming off the wall so I had to find another solution. I bought this molding trim to create a frame around it instead. Love how it turned out! lmk if you’d like the trim link💛

When dealing with builder grade mirrors that are difficult to remove, framing them can be a game-changer. I recently tackled a similar project where the mirror refused to budge from the wall. Instead of risking damage to the drywall, I opted to add a decorative molding trim around it. I chose a lightweight, easy-to-cut trim that adhered well to the wall surface. The installation was straightforward — first, ensuring the wall was clean, I measured and cut the trim to frame the mirror perfectly. The process was made even simpler by using peel and stick molding, which eliminated the need for nails or glue. This ease of installation made the project beginner-friendly and quick. Not only did the trim enhance the mirror’s appearance by adding dimension and architectural interest, but it also covered any imperfections around the mirror's edges. I found this solution particularly useful in rentals or older homes where mirrors are often glued directly to the wall with no easy removal option. If you’re considering a similar upgrade, look for molding trims labeled as 'easy peel and stick' and ensure your walls are free from dust or grease for the best adhesion. With a bit of patience and the right trim, you can transform an ordinary builder grade mirror into a stylish focal point without the hassle of removal.
