Tech Habits to Keep You Organized in 2025! ✨

Happy New Year everyone!! 🥳🥰 Here are some quick daily, weekly and monthly/quarterly habits to build to make sure you’re organized and keep your tech in good shape! ✨

Daily Habits:

(These are more focused on ensuring you’re using your tech to maximize your productivity)

* Use an app to track your goals: it could be any that you like, and using a physical planner is also great but if you prefer doing things digitally this is a must-do daily!

* Find a reliable calendar and check it through the day: there’s many great calendar apps and I prefer using the calendar that comes with the iPhone. You can use any but it’s important to make sure you’re on top of dates and deadlines.

* Plan Focus time: the iPhone offers lots of different focus settings (aka do not disturb mode) to make sure you have time to yourself or for work.

* Review reminders: I often forget this but it’s important to make sure you’ve checked off everything for the day.

* Sort through filtered emails: This isn’t a must-do but set your emails to sort automatically and glance through them when possible.

* Sync across devices: if you’re using the same applications on multiple devices, make sure they’re synced with each other and up to date.

* Close apps and browser tabs: Removing apps from the task manager and closing tabs clears cache memory!

* Charge devices: of course, a must do.

Weekly Habits:

* Shut down your phone: periodic shut downs are great for phone health.

* Delete unused apps: To keep your phone clean and reduce excess storage usage.

* Close pending browser tabs: in case you miss things on a daily basis!

* Organize Files and Notes into folders: super helpful for accessing later. Weekly organization doesn’t take too much time but makes sure everything is sorted for the future.

* Declutter digital files: such as deleting old notes, voice memos, drive files, etc.

* Review and adjust weekly plans: on calendar, goal apps, etc.

* Physically clean devices (wipe screens, keyboards, etc.): good to incorporate in your weekly routine for hygiene purposes!

* Clear off any pending reminders: again, an important one to make sure dismissed reminders don’t get missed.

* Check weekly stats like Steps in Health and Screen Time: I also find this very helpful to make the most of the data being recorded by these apps and using it for self improvement!

Monthly or Quarterly Tasks:

(These can be done approx every 1-3 months depending on your needs)

* Update passwords: an important reset for protecting your information

* Review subscriptions: to make sure you’re not paying for things you don’t need!

* Back up photos: necessary to make sure all your memories stay safe.

* Clean social media: in case you have large files shared that need to be deleted, old accounts, time limits, etc.

* Check storage: make sure no unnecessary files or applications are taking up too much space

* Review and clear camera roll: regularly deleting unwanted photos is a good practice for keeping your camera roll organized

* Organize Home Screen layout and widgets: good to update this seasonally or periodically for more efficiency or just a change!

* Set up Shortcuts or Automations for recurring tasks: Love this one, it can save a lot of time in the long run for tasks you have to do habitually. I’ll be making an entire post on this soon!

* Audit and evaluate your tech habits regularly to make sure you’re staying productive!

I hope you enjoyed the tips, let me know which habits helped you the most! 🤗🥰

... Read moreAs we embrace the digital age, staying organized has become more important than ever. In 2025, consider incorporating a variety of tech habits into your routine to boost productivity and reduce stress. Daily habits like using an interactive goal-tracking app can help you visualize your progress and keep you on track. Opt for a reliable digital calendar to manage deadlines and appointments efficiently; it's crucial for ensuring you don’t miss important events. Planning focused periods of uninterrupted work using focus modes or do-not-disturb features on devices can enhance your concentration. Weekly habits are essential for maintaining a clean and efficient digital workspace. Importance should be placed on deleting apps you no longer use, which helps minimize distractions and optimize storage space. Weekly tech check-ins can help you review your digital files and notes, allowing you to stay organized and keep track of your projects effectively. For monthly or quarterly tasks, make sure to review your digital subscriptions and cancel any that you no longer require. This not only saves money but also reduces clutter in your digital life. Regularly updating passwords can help protect your important information and keep your accounts secure. Taking these small but significant steps ensures that technology serves its purpose of enhancing productivity and facilitating a more organized lifestyle, especially as we step into 2025. Embracing these habits will lead to a harmonious balance between technology and organization.
