Balancing full-time work with study commitments, especially when facing tight deadlines and new subjects like web development, can feel overwhelming. From personal experience, I've found that breaking down your study goals into very small, manageable tasks prevents burnout and keeps momentum going. Instead of trying to tackle entire topics in one go, dedicate focused 25-minute intervals (Pomodoro Technique) to one coding challenge or concept, followed by a 5-minute break. This rhythm can improve concentration, which is key when managing ADHD. When learning scripting languages like JavaScript or working on server-side development and web data storage, don’t try to memorize everything at once. Practice by building small parts of your website incrementally, testing your code frequently, and using online forums or coding communities to troubleshoot. This hands-on approach helps information stick better than passive reading. Since time is limited, prioritize tasks by deadlines and difficulty. Identify which tests or projects need immediate attention and which can be revisited later. Use planners or digital apps with reminders to keep deadlines visible and avoid last-minute stress. Sleep is important, but if you must sacrifice rest temporarily, try power naps to refresh your mind. Also, communicate with your employer if possible; some flexibility can make a huge difference. Finally, maintaining a positive mindset helps. Remember, many adult students juggle work and study successfully.
