I’ve learned that not everyone deserves a seat at your table.

Some people are too focused on others…

too busy comparing, competing, or pretending.

And that energy? It’s draining.

I’d rather have a small circle of real ones than be surrounded by people who don’t truly care.

Genuine friendships are rare… so when you find them, don’t take them for granted ✨

... Read moreIn my own experience, I've realized that the people we keep around us deeply influence our mental and emotional well-being. The phrase "your environment matters" truly resonates when it comes to friendships. I've found that surrounding myself with those who genuinely care, rather than those who are caught up in competition or comparison, has made a significant difference in my happiness and energy levels. It's tempting to try to maintain large social circles, but the emotional cost can be high if those connections lack sincerity. I've learned to appreciate the small circle of real friends I have who support me unconditionally. They provide a safe space where I can be myself without pretenses or pressure. Also, protecting your peace isn't just about who you exclude, but also about nurturing those meaningful relationships. It means showing up authentically and being selective about where you invest your time and emotional energy. For anyone struggling with toxic relationships, I recommend reflecting on the energy each connection brings into your life. Are they uplifting or draining? Are your friends encouraging your growth, or are they caught up in negative dynamics? This reflection can clear the way for healthier, more satisfying friendships. Ultimately, genuine friendships are precious and rare, so when you find those "real ones," cherish them and protect that bond. It’s a worthwhile investment in your overall peace and happiness.
