By applying ice to affected areas, you can reduce inflammation and relieve that burning feeling. Among various skincare remedies, cooling treatments using ice are often overlooked. It's essential to wrap ice in a soft cloth before application to avoid direct contact, which can lead to frostbite. Keep the application time to about 15-20 minutes to ensure you're providing your skin with the relief it craves. Besides ice, consider incorporating gentle, non-comedogenic products into your skincare routine to prevent further irritation. Aloe vera, for instance, is known for its soothing properties and can be great after icing. If symptoms persist, however, consult a dermatologist for personalized advice. Remember, managing acne is as much about preventing irritation as treating breakouts!
