Seriously, I'm only two chapters in, and I can already tell this is going to be one of those books you can't put down. Everyone on #BookTok has been raving about Elsie Silver's Chestnut Springs series, and with a glowing endorsement from #1 New York Times bestselling author Tessa Bailey, I just had to pick it up. And let me tell you, it's living up to the hype! The premise immediately grabbed me. We meet Rhett Eaton, the golden boy of professional bull riding whose career takes a nosedive after a public brawl. To clean up his image, his agent saddles him with a 'full-time supervision' babysitter: his own daughter, Summer Hamilton. Right off the bat, you know this is going to be good. The setup alone screams classic romance tropes that I absolutely adore! First off, the forced proximity is just *chef's kiss*. The rules are simple: 'KEEP HIS HANDS OFF HIS AGENT'S DAUGHTER, AND STAY OUT OF TROUBLE. BUT NOW HE'S STUCK WITH HER. THERE'S ONLY ONE BED.' You read that right – *only one bed*! My romance-loving heart just skipped a beat. This trope never gets old for me, and I'm already anticipating all the delicious tension and awkward moments this is going to create between Rhett and Summer. Summer isn't just any babysitter; she's got a 'sexy smirk, and a mouth she can't stop running,' which sounds like Rhett is definitely in for a challenge.
