Full-Space Makeover for My Client in San Diego
This is one of my favorite client transformations I’ve ever done — a full-space glow-up that included her living room, balcony, and entryway.
When she reached out, she told me she wanted her home to feel:
More cohesive
More curated
And like a space that actually reflected everything she loved
So here’s exactly what we did:
LIVING ROOM:
We started with the color palette she already gravitated toward: navy, blush, and warm neutrals.
Then I added curated artwork that tied the colors together, new textures, and small upgrades (like pillow covers instead of whole pillows — way cheaper).
Instantly, the room looked intentional and elevated.
BALCONY:
Her balcony was cute but bare, so we added greenery, cozy seating, and fairy lights for a warm glow at sunset.
It finally feels like an extension of her home instead of an afterthought.
ENTRYWAY:
She wanted a place to display the things she loves.
So we created a soft, romantic vignette using thrifted stained-glass panels, ambient lighting, and curated decor pieces.
It’s now the first thing you see — and it sets the tone for the whole space.
