It’s hard to be brave sometimes

Acting ok while not being ok is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do

2025/9/4 Edited to

... Read moreMany people face moments when pretending to be okay becomes a daily act of courage. It’s common to feel isolated in this struggle, especially when no one else seems to understand the silent battles we endure. The quote, "The bravest thing I ever did was keep living when I didn't even want to," perfectly captures the resilience involved in continuing on despite overwhelming emotions. Being brave is not about always showing strength outwardly but often about embracing vulnerability and acknowledging the pain within. This kind of bravery is an ongoing journey rather than a single act. It involves finding small ways to cope and moving forward even when motivation is missing. It’s important to remember that acting okay while not being okay is something many people do, and sharing these experiences can offer relief and connection. Reaching out to trusted friends, counselors, or support groups can provide valuable understanding and lessen the burden. Self-care practices such as mindfulness, journaling, or creative outlets are also helpful tools to process difficult feelings. Ultimately, bravery lies in persistence and the quiet decision to keep living and hoping for better days. By recognizing this everyday courage, we can foster empathy towards ourselves and others, making it a little easier to navigate the hard moments alongside supportive communities that genuinely care.

This is a question totally optional to answer. Has anyone ever experienced that with a loss of a parent or parents? Where you feel like an orphan and you had such a beautiful yet complex relationship with them and one day they’re gone? Maybe I’m understating it wrong. The grief sounds…. I don’t even know of the best word for it. I know we all die and totally understand that part. I guess my question is what’s your experience been like with the aftermath of it all? What helped you the most with continuing to live your life?

📦 MOVING TO A NEW STATE & STARTING OVER 😮‍💨🌀
Sometimes starting fresh feels like freedom… other times, it feels like a tornado. One moment I’m full of hope, dreaming big, ready to take over. The next, I’m lying awake at night thinking: “What if I fail? What if this is all I ever become?” But then I remember… “And she continued.”

Some days, the world feels heavy. Not just busy, not just stressful, but all consuming heavy. Like you can feel the brokenness in the air. The way people talk to each other. The lack of empathy. The cruelty that’s become so normal. And if you’re soft… you feel all of it. It’s overwhelming someti
