Take a sunrise whale watching boat tour. You’ll get beautiful photos during golden hour, and it’s amazing to get to see them so close in nature.
Visit turtle beach. You’ll get to visit these beautiful animals up close and personal, but remember not to touch or disturb them- they are protected.
Take a sunrise tour to the top of Haleakala. It’s just magical seeing the sun come up over the volcano. Dress warm- it gets freezing up there but the tours do offer warm blankets and coats.
Grab a fresh coconut or homemade coconut milk ice cream from Coconut Glens. It’s a quick roadside stop on the Road to Hana.
Hike to the Nakalele Blowhole. It’s a beautiful, easy hike. Don’t get too close to the hole, it can be dangerous.
Visit a black sand beach. So beautiful and such a different look and feel from normal whit sand beaches.
Go to a luau. Touristy, yes! But fun, and interesting to learn about the local culture and try some of the local cuisine.
Speaking of local cuisine, be sure to try the shave ice. The secret is vanilla ice cream at the base. You won’t regret it!
Roadtrip the Road to Hana. Not only is one of the most scenic drives through the rainforests, there are many beautiful stops along the way and you can cool off in the famous Seven Sacred Pools shown here.
Make sure to also swim in the beautiful tropical waters, go snorkeling, enjoy some amazing sunsets, say hi to the road chickens and just relax!
