One of the best things we did while visiting Lisbon was taking a day trip to Sintra and Cabo da Roca. Sintra is only 40 minutes from Lisbon, but it feels like a completely different world. Hilltop palaces, misty forests, whimsical gardens, and some of the most unique architecture in Portugal.

One of the most charming parts of Lisbon is all the beauty in the details. The colorful houses, ornate balconies, murals and street art everywhere you look. While there are so many amazing viewpoints and landmarks to see, make sure to also slow down and get a little lost and see what you find!
