I really enjoyed this September, it was filled with harvesting fresh food and flowers from my garden. Preservation of food and back to school busyness. We decorated early for October but somehow it still snuck up on me.

If you’ve grown tomatoes, peppers, or pumpkins, now is the time to enjoy their flavorful yield. As the days cool down, it’s also ideal for preserving these fresh items through canning, freezing, or drying to enjoy their flavors year-round. Additionally, the back-to-school season adds a different kind of busyness, from shopping for supplies to establishing daily routines. It’s essential to create a balance between the hustle of preparing for school and savoring the last warm days of autumn. Early decoration for October means embracing the rich hues of fall, like oranges, browns, and deep reds. Whether it’s pumpkins on your porch or autumn-themed crafts, the charm of this season is in the details. Don't let the arrival of October take you by surprise; take time to indulge in the beauty of September while planning for the festive spirit of Halloween.
