Awful things

1/12 Edited to

... Read moreRevenge is a powerful and complex emotion that many people experience when they feel wronged or hurt by others. From personal experience, I’ve found that the desire for revenge can be overwhelming, prompting actions that often lead to more pain rather than resolution. It’s important to recognize how these awful feelings can consume you if not managed properly. In situations where revenge is involved, it’s common to feel justified temporarily, but this seldom brings lasting peace. Instead, it can create a cycle of negativity impacting your well-being and relationships. I’ve learned through reflection and talking with others that focusing on forgiveness or constructive ways to address conflicts often leads to better emotional health. Moreover, acknowledging the awfulness of certain experiences allows us to process our emotions better and grow from them. While revenge might seem like a straightforward response, exploring other options such as communication, setting boundaries, or seeking support can be more beneficial. This approach doesn’t mean ignoring your feelings; instead, it's about channeling them into positive outcomes. Learning how to handle such intense emotions has helped me and others find peace and avoid further damage caused by acts of revenge. It’s a difficult journey but one that fosters resilience and personal growth.

things I WISH I KNEW before I got my OWN PLACE 🤯💐🏡
Having an apartment on your own can be hard and cause a lot of nervous and anxious thoughts. For me, I thought it had to be “perfect”- that if I had an apartment it had to be an “aesthetic” in every aspect right off the bat. But the reality is that if you’re working full time to support yourself, y
