I Summarized This Wrist Care Routine.
After My Tenosynovitis Stopped Coming Back, ✨I Summarized This Wrist Care Routine.
After my tenosynovitis stabilized, I summarized my own care routine into four steps: stop, apply, ease, and observe. 🤔
First, stop repeating hand movements. Then use the patch for care. Recover movements slowly, and finally observe whether real daily actions like holding a cup, typing, and twisting a bottle cap have changed.🤓It sounds simple, but it worked much better than how I used to try one thing one day and another thing the next.
At first, I completely skipped the “stop” step. The base of my thumb was already sore and swollen, but I still kept scrolling on my phone, typing, and carrying my child.😬 At night I would spray something on it, then use my hand like usual the next day. As a result, the tenosynovitis kept coming back again and again, and my wrist would even click when I turned it.😖
Later, a friend brought me Huayilang Patch, and that was when I seriously gave my wrist a recovery period. 🌹While using the patch, I stopped using my hand at high intensity. If something could be done with the other hand, I switched hands. When I had to type, I would also stop and take breaks in between.💗
After the first few uses, that tight, swollen feeling at the base of my thumb slowly started to loosen up. Before, my wrist would suddenly feel weak when I held a cup. Later, the movement became much more stable, and when I turned my wrist, it no longer always felt like something was pulling.🤭
I didn’t rush to test my limits. During the first week, I only observed light daily movements. In the second week, I slowly started twisting bottle caps and carrying small bags again. Only after there was no obvious discomfort for a continuous period did I return my usage frequency to a normal level.🫡
Now, whenever my wrist feels a little tired, I stop right away instead of waiting until it hurts so much that I have to deal with it. The biggest change isn’t that I can do some impressive movement. It’s that my tenosynovitis no longer comes back every few days like it used to.👍
The hands are one of the body parts we use most every day, and they are also the easiest to ignore. Giving them rest when soreness and swelling first appear is much better than panicking only after you can’t even hold a cup steadily. 😊If there is obvious swelling, catching, or limited movement, get it checked in time. Don’t keep forcing yourself through it.
