5/1 Edited to

... Read moreNetworking technology is continually evolving, and staying updated with clear, visual resources can make a big difference in understanding complex concepts. One of the key additions in this update is the comparison between WiFi and LiFi. While WiFi uses radio waves to transmit data wirelessly, LiFi leverages visible light communication, offering higher speeds and enhanced security in specific environments. From my experience, LiFi shines in scenarios where RF interference is a concern, such as hospitals or aircraft, though WiFi remains dominant due to its widespread adoption. Another significant update is the network latency breakdown infographic. Understanding latency components—such as propagation delay, transmission delay, queuing delay, and processing delay—can help network engineers diagnose performance issues more efficiently. I’ve often referred to such visual tools when troubleshooting high-latency environments in office networks, enabling faster pinpointing of bottlenecks. The addition explaining Ethernet port LEDs is particularly useful. Interpreting LED statuses can quickly indicate physical layer issues like link status, speed negotiation, or fault conditions without deep technical investigation. In practice, this has saved me time during onsite hardware diagnostics. Lastly, the explanation of SNAT (Source NAT) vs. DNAT (Destination NAT) clarifies two fundamental yet distinct Network Address Translation operations. Knowing when and why to apply SNAT or DNAT is essential in configuring firewalls, routers, or load balancers. Supplementing theory with infographics makes these concepts more accessible for those preparing for network certification exams or managing live networks. Overall, updates like these enhance the learning value of the infographic pack and ebook by presenting complex networking topics in an easy-to-digest, graphic format that supports both study and practical application. For anyone looking to boost their networking knowledge or keep current with tech trends, regularly updated visual aids like these are invaluable.
