My Gym Progress As A Mom Of 2

I started workout again after 2yrs and a baby 😓

After almost 3 years I’m finally back in the gym and staying consistent. I get up everyday at 5am and get my workout done which is more difficult than it sounds cause your girl loves her sleep 😭.

Leg day video coming out today !

But in the mean time be sure to check out my YouTube ! My link is in my bio

3 Tips to change physique:

1. Be consistent. Weather that’s with a diet or workout out stay consistent you’ll see a change

2. Do things you enjoy. If you don’t enjoy working out it’s probably not for you try something else to get your body moving

3. Be patient. You aren’t going to see results right away but if you do it every day you will see it little by little every week

... Read moreStarting a fitness routine as a mom of two can be both challenging and rewarding. Consistency, as emphasized, is crucial; setting a regular schedule—like waking up early to work out—can help create a sustainable habit. Many moms experience sleep deprivation and fatigue, so it's important to listen to your body and adjust workouts according to your energy levels. Focusing on workouts you enjoy ensures that exercise doesn’t feel like a burden. Whether it’s weight lifting, yoga, or a cardio activity, enjoyment boosts motivation and helps you stick to your goals. Importantly, the goal is not just weight loss but achieving a toned and strong body, which supports overall health and wellbeing, especially after pregnancy. Patience is key in this journey. Physical changes take time, especially after the demands of childbirth and caring for young children. Tracking progress in terms of strength and endurance, rather than just scale weight, helps maintain a positive outlook. Moreover, nutrition plays a significant role alongside exercise. A balanced diet rich in protein, healthy fats, and complex carbs fuels workouts and aids recovery. Hydration and adequate rest complement the fitness routine. Engaging with communities such as #momthatlifts or #sahm can provide support and motivation. Following fitness content on platforms like YouTube, as mentioned, offers access to tailored workouts and tips from fellow moms who understand the unique demands of motherhood and fitness. Ultimately, approaching fitness as a gradual and enjoyable part of your lifestyle promotes long-lasting health benefits, confidence, and a strong mindset.

The HARSH REALITY of Gym Progress..
The hardest part about progress? You never “feel” it happening. One day you think you’re finally seeing changes, the next day you swear you look smaller. Some days you feel strong, other days you feel weak. The mirror will lie to you. Your mind will play tricks on you. And if you’re not careful

Coming back after 5 weeks off reminded me how much hormones impact a woman’s body. Bloating, water retention, reduced strength, and slower recovery can all happen — and it doesn’t mean you “fell off.” This is why I’m easing back in and training with intention. Leg press form matters: • Feet

how I’ve made progress as a college gym girly!
As important as it is to push yourself in the gym, it’s just as important to focus on what you’re doing outside of the gym to make physical progress. Things like stretching daily, eating whole foods, and walking as much as I can have helped me tremendously! The little habits truly do add up!! #

How I Made Progress In The Gym
I made no progress in the gym until I changed three things: 1️⃣ Food became fuel, not just fun. 2️⃣ I stopped winging my workouts and started tracking progress. 3️⃣ I ditched pen and paper for an app that makes tracking simple. Once I made these changes, everything clicked! 💪✨ #FitnessJ
