Not sure what this

While spending some time in my backyard today, I noticed something unusual in the sky. I was gazing up when I spotted a very bright, flaring object hovering above. Its brilliance caught my attention, and I couldn't help but wonder what it could be. Unfortunately, by the time I switched my camera to video mode, the object had vanished.

I’ve included some unedited pictures of what I saw, but I’m still at a loss for what it might have been. If anyone has an idea about its origin, nature, or trajectory, I would greatly appreciate any insights you could share. Thank you in advance for your help!
