the perfect easy brunch board 🧇🌸
Sunday Morning Mother’s Day Brunch Board 🌷✨
There is nothing better than a slow Sunday morning, especially when it involves a tray full of everyone’s favorites! I put together this Brunch Board as a special Mother’s Day treat for my family. For me, Mother’s Day is all about those small, meaningful gestures, taking the time to cook a hot meal and sitting down together to start the day.
This board is the perfect mix of savory and sweet, and it’s so easy to customize depending on what your family loves! 🤍
Ingredients:
• Proteins: 4 Turkey sausage links & 2 Large eggs
• Starches: 2 Frozen waffles & 1 ½ cups Diced hashbrown potatoes
• Produce: 1 Orange (sliced) & a handful of Red grapes
• Seasoning: Salt, pepper, and a dash of paprika for the potatoes
• Cooking: Butter or olive oil
Instructions:
1. Crispy Hashbrowns: Heat a little oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced potatoes and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for about 10 minutes, flipping occasionally until they are perfectly golden and crispy.
2. Turkey Sausage: In the same skillet (or a separate one), cook the turkey sausage links until browned and heated through.
3. Perfect Waffles: Pop your waffles into the toaster. I like to toast them twice on a lower setting to get them extra crunchy without burning them!
4. Fried Eggs: Melt a small pat of butter in your pan. Crack the eggs and cook until the whites are set but the yolks are still a little jammy.
5. Assembly: Place the eggs and sausage on one side, pile the hashbrowns in the middle, and stack your waffles on the end. Add your bowl of grapes and orange wedges to fill in the gaps for a bright, fresh finish!

this looks so good! I love me some breakfast potatoes, well any form of potato! 😍
