The train becomes a meaningful symbol of transition and escape, capturing the idea of moving on even when the future feels uncertain. The story unfolds slowly, giving readers space to feel the emotions without pushing for quick answers. This book was beautifully written and really leaves you feeling almost weightless. Overall, The Midnight Train by Matt Haig was a gorgeous, thought and emotion provoking read that belongs on your shelf this may.
