This was an easy read and was perfect for autumn romance vibes! So, Jeanie is new to Dream Harbor as she inherits the cafe from her aunt Dot. A lot happens in the story that gives Jeanie quite a hard time settling in.

The other love interest in this story is Logan, the local farmer. He has lived in Dream Harbor all his life but has had his fair share of heartache. The two characters are thrown together for a whirlwind of a romance story with a nice autumn setting.

These two make a really good couple. The story has great pace, and although I wasn’t too keen on Jeanie’s character, I quite liked Logan at first. He came across as a nice, sweet guy. However, I feel like his character grows quite complex with the issues he has to face. I like how the author has involved these issues that he struggles with due to his ex as it adds context, but I feel like deciding to cool off their relationship over the same thing over and over just became a little repetitive and Jeanie forgives him way too easily all three times. It had a good ending and concluded well, and everything was well explained, so you wasn’t left wondering.
