I was able to get my hands on one of the new EOS body washes. One of my all time favorite scents, pink champagne 🍾🥂, was the first body wash I had to try!! The body wash is very moisturizing and it melts into your skin. It makes suds in which I look for in body wash. The scent of the body wash smell just like the lotion but it is a more subtle scent. The scent does not really last all day but I was thinking maybe it was designed this way to pair with the lotion and they did not want to have the scents overpowering each other. It does make my skin feel moisturized and soft throughout the day but I recommend pairing with the lotion to actually smell the scent. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments!! 😊
... Read moreOkay, so I've been using this new EOS Pink Champagne Body Wash for a bit longer, and I have even more thoughts to share, especially for those wondering if it's truly worth the hype! Beyond just the initial wash, I've really been paying attention to how it performs for my skin, particularly since I'm always on the lookout for products that genuinely cater to dry skin.
First off, let's talk about the buzzword I saw on the bottle: 'pH-balanced.' This is a huge deal, and honestly, it's something I actively look for in my body care now. Our skin has a natural pH, and when a body wash is too alkaline, it can strip away those essential oils, leaving your skin feeling tight, dry, and sometimes even irritated. A pH-balanced formula, like what EOS claims, helps maintain your skin's natural barrier. This means less dryness and discomfort, which is exactly what I've experienced. My skin feels clean, but never squeaky or stripped, which is a massive win for someone like me with perpetually dry skin. It truly feels like a gentle cleansing experience.
Speaking of moisture, the original review mentioned how moisturizing it is, and I can confirm that this feeling really lasts. The bottle highlights 'Shea Better Cashmere,' and whatever magic they've put into that blend, it works! My skin feels noticeably softer and smoother throughout the day, even before I apply lotion. It doesn't just feel like a temporary fix; there's a genuine improvement in my skin's texture. For anyone with dry patches or just generally thirsty skin, this could be a game-changer. I even noticed it helped with some mild flakiness I sometimes get on my legs.
Now, about that Pink Champagne scent – it's divine but subtle, as I mentioned before. I've found that this is actually a smart design choice. Instead of competing with your other fragrances, it provides a lovely, light base. Here's a tip: to make the scent last longer, try layering! After showering with this body wash, while your skin is still slightly damp, apply the matching EOS Pink Champagne lotion. This really locks in the fragrance and moisture, creating a beautiful, cohesive scent bubble that stays with you for hours without being overwhelming. It’s like a little secret luxury.
Another aspect that makes this a winner for me is how gentle it is. I'm always cautious about new products causing irritation, but this 'gentle cleansing' formula has been incredibly kind to my skin. No redness, no itchiness, just pure comfort. It lathers up beautifully, creating a rich, creamy foam that makes showering feel like a spa experience.
Overall, this EOS Shea Better Cashmere Body Wash in Pink Champagne has earned a permanent spot in my shower routine. If you're looking for an 'Honest Review' from someone who values both scent and serious skincare benefits, especially for dry and sensitive skin, I highly recommend giving this a try. It truly delivers on its promises of being gentle, moisturizing, and pH-balanced.
I Really don’t like this one! I got it the other day and wish I DIDNT! 🥺
