What I ate in a Day
Day 3/75 of #75Soft
1,700 Calories & 143 Grams of protein. So proud of myself! Still not at 200 grams. But to go from binging and eating out almost everyday, to counting calories and now slowly macros I’m feeling confident!
Also I’m such a napper. But these last 3 days I have yet to nap. Which helps me sleep better at night. Which then will help with my results bc without sleep you won’t see results! Idk if I’m delusional but I swear I already see my stomach getting flatter from these YouTube workouts. 🙂↕️🤭
How are y’all feeling????!!!! ❤️🫶🏽
My journey on #75Soft has truly opened my eyes to the power of a high-protein diet! Hitting 143 grams of protein daily, alongside my 1700 calories, has been a game-changer for feeling satisfied and seeing those initial changes, like a flatter stomach. It's not just about what you eat, but how you strategize your meals, especially when focusing on protein-rich foods like eggs, chicken, and yogurt. Let's talk about eggs first. Beyond my delicious brunch with steak and mushrooms, eggs are incredibly versatile and a protein powerhouse. I love them fried, but think about hard-boiled eggs for a quick grab-and-go snack, or scrambled eggs with some added veggies to kickstart your day. They're a fantastic source of protein for minimal calories, making them a staple in my high-protein routine. My breakfast of bananas and almonds was a good start, but adding an egg or two would boost that protein even further, fueling you longer. Then there's chicken. My shredded chicken with rice and cabbage was a hearty dinner, packed with protein. But chicken breasts or thighs can be grilled, baked, or air-fried for endless meal prep options. It’s a lean protein that keeps you full and helps build muscle, which is vital for seeing results from those YouTube workouts! Incorporating chicken frequently ensures you're getting consistent protein throughout your day. And for something creamy and satisfying, yogurt is a game-changer. My peach cobbler yogurt was a treat, but plain Greek yogurt can be transformed with fresh fruit like pineapple or sliced bananas, and a sprinkle of almonds for healthy fats and extra crunch. If you're struggling to hit your protein goal, a chocolate protein shake is a delicious and convenient way to boost intake, just like I had during my snack time, sometimes alongside a tropical energy drink for an afternoon pick-me-up. Balancing these protein powerhouses within my 1700 calories has been a learning curve, especially coming from a history of binging. Tracking my food, like the detailed screenshots of my banana and almond breakfast or my steak, mushrooms, and eggs brunch, has been instrumental. It's not about being perfect every single day, but about building consistency. Seeing how much protein is in my meals, like the 43g from that steak and egg meal or the 59g from the chicken dinner, gives me the confidence that I'm fueling my body right. Don't underestimate the power of thoughtful snacking too. My collage showed how I incorporated smaller bites like pineapple chunks and almonds throughout the day to keep energy levels stable and hunger at bay. It all adds up! This approach isn't just about weight loss; it's about feeling more energized, sleeping better (no more afternoon naps for me!), and truly transforming your habits. Keep going, you've got this!
