Trust in Him ✝️
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Waking up this morning this verse popped into my mind. It’s a pretty popular verse from the Bible but I have never studied it before now.
Why do we think we can lean on our own understanding? Why do we not let God our Father, comforter, protector do what he does best and lead us? David is telling us what the Lord has done for him. That no matter what he has no worry, he has no fear for he knows God will take care of him.
We are no different. Whether it be spiritual warfare or day to day life God will take care of his children. I find myself forgetting this from time to time. The best thing for all of us to do is submit our struggles, our worries to him.
He loves us dearly and he is forever faithful. The same God that took care of David then is the same God that continues to take care of us today.
