Make sure you do a patch test beforehand if you're prone to sensitivities! For anyone, especially women considering a large back piece, remember that personal pain tolerance varies greatly. What's 'extreme' for one might be 'intense' for another. Staying hydrated, eating a good meal before your session, and getting plenty of sleep the night before can make a huge difference. Don't be afraid to ask your artist for short breaks if you need them; they understand! Focusing on your breathing or listening to music can also be helpful distractions. Ultimately, the stunning artwork on your back will be a testament to your endurance!
