🛒 Must-Buy Items from Daiso Korea 🇰🇷✨

Max photo is 10 🥹 Some items no photo!

(The first thing I was shocked was SG Daiso don’t have much items compared to KR 😭)

Did you know that Daiso Korea is completely separate from Daiso in other countries?

👉 Korea actually bought over the brand within Korea, so most products are made locally.

Some are still made in China, but overall, the quality is different and higher compared to what you might find elsewhere. (I tried both country Daiso with same product but the quality really different 🥹)

Fun fact: Some items are actually from big Korean companies. The reason Daiso can sell them for just $1–$5 is because they order in huge quantities, which makes it affordable for us.

And now, a big trend here → cosmetic shopping at Daiso! 🪞

At first, I didn’t want to try “cheap cosmetics”… but after seeing so many friends recommend them, I gave in. And honestly, the quality surprised me! Here are my honest recommendations after trying them out 👇

💄 Cosmetics & Beauty

1. Merzy – Let’s Fixing Slim Gel Eyeliner (02 Bronze Opal) — $3

✔️ Slim & easy to draw, smooth application. Small size, very handy.

2. Dropbe – Concealer (01 Green) — $3

✔️ Made by The Saem. Since I have red skin, I picked green (it cancels redness well).

💡 Shade guide:

Green → Red skin / blemishes

Natural Beige → Darker flaws, general coverage

Peach → Brighten dark under-eyes

3. Plu – Body Scrub (Raspberry Scent) — $3

✔️ One of my long-time faves! I found that Daiso also sell this. Normally about $10 for 200g outside of Daiso.

✔️ After use: smoother skin ✨

I usually buy the “Berry Mix” scent, but I tried the raspberry here and it’s still good!

4. Growus – Long Lasting Styling Hair Fixer (+ Roller) — $3

✔️ Comes with a hair roller!

✔️ Gas-free → safe to bring on a plane.

✔️ Keeps your hairstyle all day.

⚠️ Makes hair stiff → if you brush after spraying, the hold weakens faster.

5. Your Nail DIA Care Set (A: Strengthener & B: Moisture Serum) — $3

✔️ Perfect for when I take a break from gel nails. My natural nails usually break easily, but this set keeps them strong.

B (Moisture Serum) → just apply, no need to wash.

A (Strengthener) → reapply every 2 days, remove after 1 week, repeat. Also works as a base coat.

6. Boncept – Chiffon Bonding Tint (02 Chiffon Pink) — $3

✔️ Can also use as blush.

✔️ Says “24h lasting”—not fully stain, but it does stain lightly.

✔️ Made by Tonymoly. (Their gel eyeliner in Daiso is also popular, but I prefer pencil.)

7. Boncept – Lip Tattoo Sticker (03 Rose) — $3

✔️ Tried Olive Young’s version (Oiad.~$16), but I like this more!

✔️ Easy to use, nice color, dries faster if you use a fan.

✔️ Lasts about a whole day.

💡 Tip: I apply only to my outer lipline (not full lip) for a more natural look.

🧼 Tools & Everyday Items

8. Cotton Buds (Micro Size) — $1

✔️ My eyeliner hack: draw with pencil, then adjust/fix with this tiny bud.

9. Tin Case Makeup Brush Washer — $1

✔️ Super convenient: just rub brush on sponge to clean.

✔️ When dirty → wash sponge or flip it over.

✔️ Perfect for busy days when no time to fully wash/dry.

10. Form Container — $1

✔️ I fill it with cleansing water → easy pump onto cotton pad or directly on skin.

✔️ Small & travel-friendly.

11. Laundry Bags — $1–2

✔️ Hard to find good quality ones in SG. (I bought few SG Daiso but all of them torn/broken)

✔️ Must-have for underwear & protecting clothes in the wash.

💊 Supplements & Skincare

12. Supplements — $5

✔️ Produced by big Korean pharmaceutical companies.

✔️ My picks:

▪️rTG Omega3 (30 pills, 30 days)

▪️ Madeca Low-Molecular Collagen C (20 sachets, 20 days)

→ Felt improvements in my skin after consuming these. (Omega3 helps to reduce inflammations good for skin)

✔️ They also sell many other supplements, including for weight loss!

13. Theraskin – Pimple Patch (72 pcs) — $3

✔️ I tried many kinds, but this is my favorite.

✔️ Same quality as $10+ brands.

✔️ 2 sizes included, with easy-tear film.

✔️ I also use it for small cuts or blisters on fingers/toes.

🌟 Final Thoughts

Not every Daiso has the same stock → so check testers if available!

These are my top finds this trip, but there are many more treasures.

✨ Next time, I’ll share my must-do things in Korea as someone who lives in SG but comes back often. Stay tuned!

... Read moreIf you're wondering about returning items at Daiso Korea, the policy generally allows returns only if the product is defective or unopened. It's best to keep your receipt and check with the store staff for specific conditions. Regarding Daiso’s prices, their cosmetics and skincare products are typically priced between $1 to $5, making high-quality Korean brands accessible on a budget. For example, the Merzy Let’s Fixing Slim Gel Eyeliner or the Dropbe concealer are great value buys. One popular skincare item is the Theraskin pimple patch, which offers excellent coverage and healing similar to pricier brands. For body care, the Plu Raspberry Scented Body Scrub is a standout for smooth skin, usually found at a fraction of the normal price outside Daiso. When it comes to hair care, the Growus Long Lasting Styling Hair Fixer that comes with a roller is my travel essential. Just a heads up—it can stiffen hair if you don’t style it right after spraying. Many shoppers also appreciate Daiso’s practical items like laundry bags and makeup brush washers, which combine functionality with affordability. If you’re curious about specific product quality, testing in-store is a good idea as stock varies across different Daiso locations. Lastly, Daiso Korea’s products are mostly made locally or by well-known Korean companies, distinguishing them from Daiso outlets in other countries. This means that when you buy here, you’re getting authentic Korean-quality items that have been widely praised by beauty enthusiasts. Happy shopping and exploring all the treasures Daiso Korea offers!
