These are some of my favorite and most recent poems. There’s a lot I need to work on and practice but the progress I have made in my writing has come a long way. First off, I used to never share what I wrote, I just kept it under lock and key for my eyes only. But as I’ve worked on self healing and expressing myself I have started to share more and more of what I have wrote and to be honest, it feels good!
Some of the topics I write about I have never talked about, and putting things out there is scary, but I’ve been provided so much love and support because I was willing to share these. I’ve been able to find people who have felt the same as me, and I’ve been able to return the support that I have been given. Sharing my stories and experiences has opened many doors for me.
Give it a try, you may be surprised by how good it can feel.
