Unhinged Email Sign Offs 🫖
Not saying you should use these but I sure as hell did. I’m VERY straightforward and blunt with management. If they don’t know there’s a problem they can’t fix it and if you allow them to keep putting things off and not backing their word they’ll just keep doing it. I have a *curious* relationship with my bosses so I definitely don’t recommend if you can’t back it up either.
By *curious* I mean they have put us all in a tough position by not filling a collateral supervisor role. I have been managing 2 supervisor roles since MARCH. Without telling us, they decided they aren’t going to hire for the two open positions because we “can do it for the price of less”. We are burnt out and tired of continually putting out for this company and not even being included in these types of decisions. They can’t fire me because I’m the only one inside the company who knows both jobs (their fault for not promoting within or hiring out) and I can’t quit because I don’t want to put my team in an even tougher position.
Am I salty? Yes. Will my emails continue to show it? Yes.
At this point I’m just ranting to get it off my chest but that’s kind of what social media is for so.. enjoy the tea 🫖
