Cloth Diapers

#lemon8diarychallenge #clothdiapers #diapers #reusable #lowtoxliving

Okay so my daughter is 4 months, we have been using pampers swaddlers. i’m a first time mom and also just starting to learn everything about low toxic living and being scrunchy. we just got the first set of diapers on saturday. so we washed them and used them sunday for the first time. we have already ordered two more sets. they are amazing and WAY easier than they are made out to be. my girl also had a rash that wasn’t going away and ONE day in these made her rash almost fully disappear. it was crazy. i 100% wish i knew this sooner because i don’t think we will buy other diapers again. we still have a ton from my baby shower so we will definitely use what we have but we won’t be buying anymore disposable diapers. it genuinely makes me feel good to say that because diapers are so expensive and they create so so much waste that’s avoidable.

I got all of these from amazon and they are 100% worth the price!

... Read moreCloth diapers have become increasingly popular among eco-conscious parents for several compelling reasons. Not only do they help reduce the carbon footprint associated with disposable diapers, but they also provide a healthier alternative for your baby's sensitive skin. Many parents find that transitioning to cloth diapers has a significant impact on their child's comfort and skin health, often alleviating diaper rashes within just a day of use. Additionally, cloth diapers can save you money in the long run. While the initial investment may seem high, the ability to wash and reuse these diapers can lead to substantial savings over time, especially when you consider that the price of disposable diapers can add up quickly. Furthermore, many families find joy in personalizing their cloth diaper choices, selecting vibrant prints and styles that reflect their baby's personality. The eco-friendly aspect of cloth diapers is another major advantage. Traditional disposable diapers contribute to a staggering amount of landfill waste, often taking hundreds of years to break down. By opting for cloth, not only do you make a proactive choice for the environment, but you also set a wonderful example for future generations about mindful consumption and sustainability. If you're exploring cloth diaper options, there are plenty of resources and communities available to support new parents on this journey. From tips on choosing the right type of cloth diaper to washing routines that keep them fresh and clean, you're sure to find valuable information. Embracing cloth diapers is not just a parenting choice; it's a lifestyle commitment towards healthier living for both your child and the planet.

Are cloth diapers even worth the hassle?
When we had our baby shower, we had a diaper raffle like everyone else! We were LOADED! But it’s really never enough. Babies go through diapers like it’s no one’s business. And the worst part is, you have no idea what kind of diapers will or won’t give your baby a rash. With a sensitive skin,
