The plot / storyline is good in Western investigative fiction style. Fun, intense, boiling, winning. The storyline is complicated. It's about a bit difficult to read. The characters keep coming up to be confused. Plus the name is hard to remember. It confuses me some time to read. This is the first book in the Pendergast setup that I picked up. It feels better than expected. But maybe it's because I didn't expect it or I'm not sure.
The beginning of the story was quite slow. It was a series of stories about many characters, switching around and going very interesting. It was because I should have known about Pendergast as well, making it easy to read and enjoy, not boring at all. Addicted to a lot more than expected. From before reading, I thought it would be boring because it was quite thick, but not at all.
Some hard guesses, a lot of unexpected events, some peaks, some peaks, but there's nothing wow, and the unsub's guess isn't really right, or maybe he can't. Let's go read it.
Before the end was so fun, it was so boiling, according to Western investigative style, it was considered unexpected, maybe because it wasn't thought to be like this.
If you ask if you want to read another book, I think you should read it because it's fun. The only thing that's stuck is thick.
